KHPhysiotherapy is owned and run by me….Kerstine.
I qualified as a sports injury and rehabilitation therapist in 2009 after studying for 2 years at The Midlands School of Massage in Nottingham. Prior to this I was a serving Fire Fighter with Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service. I continued on to train as a physiotherapist at the University of Nottingham after working for the NHS in a busy, local community NeuroRehabilitation team. After working within a local respiratory team and for a private company dealing with mainly whiplash patients I realised I wanted to offer my patients a much more personalised, hands on experience so I set up KHPhysiotherapy.
My goals for every patient are to provide them with a comfortable, welcoming environment and give them the support, education and advice for them to be able to take ownership of their condition and move forwards along their road to recovery. Setting up my business in my community means I can support local people and hopefully continue to develop links between local GPs, groups and businesses. This year in addition to providing physiotherapy services, I have also hosted several runners workshops and recently set up my sports bra clinics which run once a month and aim to provide ladies with the best sports bra for them.
